Still in the rough and
barren empty countryside, a small stream is crossed. Sleeping during the day
and walking at night.

I hit 500 miles! I can now
sing the song “I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more just to be
the man that walked 1000 miles to fall down at your door”. I find it terribly
exciting to know that I have hiked over 500 miles in under a year. This is
why I decided to do this challenge: to find out what I can really do! I hiked
some more this week as well as went shopping for groceries and clothes.

I hiked once this week, but
mostly I lay in bed ill, so I think I did pretty well to have walked almost
20 miles. We were at Kanuga this week, so I had to walk a lot just to get up
to eat food.
